On 12 August 2026, Mrs. Punwipa Na Bangchang Wiesener, Acting Consul-General of Thailand in Hong Kong, met with Ms. Cheng Sze Ling in preparation for her upcoming posting as the Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) in Bangkok. During the meeting, both sides discussed and exchanged views on bilateral collaborations in promoting Thailand - Hong Kong investment such as the current business and economic trends of mutual interest and the support for the high-level delegations from Thailand who participate in international conferences in Hong Kong.
