Visitors who hold a Hong Kong SAR passport can use the Automated Immigration Clearance System (e-Channel) to enter Thailand

Visitors who hold a Hong Kong SAR passport can use the Automated Immigration Clearance System (e-Channel) to enter Thailand at Suvarnabhumi Airport since July 2024 and will be able to use the e-Channel at Don Muang Airport by the first half of 2026 if they meet the following conditions:

(1) They must be entering Thailand on a visa exemption scheme; and

(2) They have previously used their current passports to enter Thailand with an immigration entry stamp from their previous visit

Please note that those entering Thailand for the first time or whose passports do not have an immigration entry stamp have to undergo immigration clearance at the regular passport control counter.
