On 18 November 2025, Ms. Ranida Chamchalerm, Deputy Consul-General attended and deliver the opening remarks on behalf of the Consul-General of Thailand in Hong Kong at the Big C Supplier Conference at the Hong Kong Arts Centre, Hong Kong SAR. The event was also attended by Dr. Bernard Chan, Undersecretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Hong Kong SAR, Ms. Pannakarn Jiamsuchon, Thai Trade Commissioner in Hong Kong and Mr. Patrick Cheng, Managing Director of Big C (HK).

Big C (HK) is a major player in Hong Kong's retail sector, operating over 23 branches across Hong Kong SAR and specialising in Thai products that are widely popular among Hong Kong consumers.
