On 30 June 2026, Ms Ranida Chamchalerm, Acting Consul-General of Thailand in Hong Kong attended the Opening Ceremony of the GBA - ASEAN Summit 2026, hosted by the Hong Kong - ASEAN Foundation and the South China Morning Post at the Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong.

In this occasion, the Acting Consul-General also pariticipated in the launch ceremony of the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong) alongside ASEAN Consuls-General and related representatives. The ASEAN Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong) is a collaboration among the Hong Kong private sector, the chambers of commerce and business councils of ASEAN countries in Hong Kong with an aim to strengthen economic, trade and investment ties between Hong Kong and the ASEAN economies.
