On 8 August 2025, Mr. Chaturont Chaiyakam, Consul-General of Thailand alongside Ms. Pannakarn Jiamsuchon, Thai Trade Commissioner and members of Team Thailand in Hong Kong attended the opening ceremony of the ASEAN Film Festival 2025, organized by the Hong Kong - ASEAN Foundation in August 2025 at the Hong Kong Palace Museum. This year, 3 films from Thailand have been nominated to feature during the Festival.
