The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Hong Kong SAR, in collaboration with the Kowloon City District Office, the Kowloon City District Council and the Thai community in Hong Kong, jointly organized the Thai Songkran Festival in Kowloon City 2026 during 11-12 April 2026. The event was aimed at promoting Thai culture and traditions to the Hong Kong public and foreigners living in Hong Kong, which is in line with the policy to promote soft power of the Thai government, as well as empowering the Thai community in Hong Kong. Artists from the GMM Grammy and performers from the Mirinn Show also performed in the event. Thai boxing competitions and demonstrations were also showcased. Thai products, food, and beverages were also sold in the event. The Festival attracted approximately 100,000 participants, including Thai nationals, Hong Kong residents, and foreigners.
