On 27 March 2026, Mr. Chaturont Chaiyakam, Consul-General of Thailand in Hong Kong, participated in the press conference for the Thai Songkran Festival in Kowloon City 2026 which the Royal Thai Consulate-General will jointly organise with the Kowloon City District Office from 11 - 12 April 2026 at the Kowloon City Carpenter Road Park. Mr. Ivanhoe Chang, Kowloon City District Officer, and other distinguished guests also took part in the event.
