On 11 March 2026, Mr. Chaturont Chaiyakam, Consul-General of Thailand in Hong Kong participated and delivered the welcoming remarks for the seminar titled "Thailand: Investment Gateway and Global Talent Hub" organised by the Thailand Board of Investment at the Renaissance Hong Kong to give the Hong Kong business community an overview of the investment opportunities in Thailand. During the event, the Honourable Bernard Charnwut Chan, Chairman of the Hong Kong - Thailand Business Council, and Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary-General of Thailand Board of Investment, also delivered their remarks on the experiences, policies and visions for investment in Thailand.
