Visa Information and Requirement
This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter the Kingdom to work as a film producer, journalist, or reporter.
For Filming - The applicant must request in advance approval from the Thailand Film Office, Department of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism and Sport.
To work as a journalist or reporter, the applicant must request in advance approval from the Department of Information, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. For short term assignment, such as to cover news on natural disasters or international meetings/ sports competition which do not require media registration in advance, the applicant may apply for Non-Immigrant Visa - Category M.
For single entry
3 months from the date of issuance
1. | Completed visa application form (with white background photo within the last six months, size 3.5 x 4.5 cm) Click here |
2. | A copy of applicant’s passport main page and the validity of passport must be more than 6 months |
3. | A copy of applicant’s Hong Kong ID card or Macao ID card / (for non-residents) a copy of proof of stay permitted in Hong Kong or Macao |
4. | Original letter of guarantee from the employer with authorized signature and Company Seal Stamp with details about the purpose of the visit to Thailand and a copy of the company registration, with a copy of ID card of the authorized signatory |
5. | Copy of business license of the inviting company in Thailand with the company’s stamp and authorized person’s signature (issued by the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand) Company profile or details of business operations, with a copy of the Certificate of Company Registration |
6. | An approval from Thailand Film Office, Department of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism and Sport |
