Transit Visa - Category C
(For Captain or Crew of Conveyance)


Eligibility

This type of visa is issued to eligible applicants who are currently residing in Hong Kong SAR or Macao SAR and wishing to enter Thailand as captain or crew of a conveyance coming to the port, station or area in Thailand.

Application Documents

1. Completed visa application form (with white background photo within the last six months, size 3.5 x 4.5 cm) Click here
2. A copy of applicant’s passport main page and the validity of passport must be more than 6 months
3. A copy of applicant’s Hong Kong ID card or Macao ID card / (for non-residents) a copy of proof of stay permitted in Hong Kong or Macao
4. Proof of sufficient fund such as bank statement with a minimum balance of THB 20,000 or equivalent
5. Flight itinerary with an outbound flight from Thailand
6. Proof of accommodation covering the period of stay in Thailand (after quarantine):
  • Proof of full-paid accommodation which covers the whole period of stay in Thailand (must be issued by legitimate entrepreneur with tax identification number) OR
  • Proof of purchase/hire purchase of condominium in Thailand which shows not less than 25% of the full amount has been paid
7. Letter of verification from the concerned airline
